How to Send Mails with Large Attachments Easily

How many times have you been frustrated and left helpless trying to send emails with large attachments using a web based mail such as yahoo? Well byte your nails no more. I was plucking out my hair one by one not so long ago trying to do the same thing and failing over and over and over and over................... again, until I came across a gem of a software called GSpace (Wish I found it earlier cuz now I'm nearly hairless :-)).

GSpace is really an add-on used with firefox, the most secure and fastest web browser today (IMHO). So how to use it is the next big question. Let me approach this in 3 simple steps.

1. Create a GMail Account. You will have to have a valid gmail account. If you have one, skip this step. If not you can visit gmail.com and create a new email account.

2. Download and install firefox. Dont use firefox yet? (hmmm... i really feel sorry for urself). You can download it from here.

3. Get the GSpace Extension. You can search for the gspace extension using the firefox menu Tools --> Addons --> Get Extensions Link

What Next?

  1. Once Gspace is installed, open (restart) your Firefox browser. To access Gspace go to: Tools > Gspace. The Gspace console will appear on screen.
  2. Manage your Gmail accounts. (You can set up as many as you want. Remember that each one provides 2Gb of storage.)
  3. Login to any of your Gmail accounts.
  4. Gspace console is divided in 4 key areas for you to manage your files: My Computer / My Gspace / Transfers / Status.
  5. Enjoy Gspace features:
    • File Transfer: to manage files
    • Player Mode: to listen your stored music files directly from Gspace
    • Photo Mode: to view your collection of pictures
    • Gmail Drive: to manage your Gdrive files as well
  6. Using the file transfer mode (default), upload files.
